Donations still being accepted for Thanksgiving in Millen 2007

It is not too late to contribute to Thanksgiving in Millen 2007!

This year, as in previous years, organizers are requesting the public to help by contributing turkeys, string beans, sweet potatoes, stuffing mix and cranberry sauce, or by making a monetary donation.

Please notify the Rev. P.M. Broomfield, pastor of Zion Baptist Church, of the names, addresses and telephone numbers of those in the community who would benefit from a prepared dinner. He may be reached at (478) 494-7218.

Plates will be delivered and dine-in will be available on Thanksgiving Day at Vera's Kitchen located at 419 Magnolia Street, off Old Sylvania Highway.

Everyone is welcome to join the fellowship, food and family.
