Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I recently became a resident on Oak Hill Church Road. I never traveled much on this road until now, and I found myself very concerned about the terrible quality of this particular road. The four miles of Oak Hill Church Road that run into Highway 17 South are in desperate need of improvement. It is extremely dangerous for anyone to travel. I am sure other frequent travelers would say the same. There are many risks that drivers face when traveling this road. For example, dodging the many deep holes, (especially at night,) can possibly lead to horrible accidents. Even though it takes more of my time, I find myself going other routes, so I won't be at such risk. To ensure the safety of travelers, more needs to be done to improve the quality of this road, and to prevent possible accidents. Keep in mind, temporary fixes don't last.

Sincerely, A very concerned resident,

Haley Lindsey
