Jerry Eugene Ward, 68, died in Atlanta Nov. 22

Jerry Eugene Ward, 68, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

His funeral was held 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, in the Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta. Burial was in Kennesaw Memorial Park.

Mr. Ward was a resident of Marietta. He was the Southeast Regional Development Manager for Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Lura Edwards Ward; three children, Greg Ward of Loganville, Angie Ward Mosley and son-in-law, Johnny, of Greeneville, Tenn. and Keith Ward and daughter-in-law, Glynnis, of Marietta; two sisters, Barbara Ward Alsobrooks and Sybil Ward Jenkins, both of Millen; and a brother, Darnay Ward of Fayetteville, N.C.

Jerry, "Pa," is also survived by six granddaughters: Kaitlynne Ward; Caroline, Courtney and Carmen Mosley; and Amy and Erin Ward.

Survivors also include many nieces, nephews and cousins.
