Hargrove, Lewis exchange vows

Miss Catherine Abbott Hargrove became the bride of Danny Leroy Lewis Jr. 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, during a private ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Hargrove of Waynesboro. The bride's uncle Dr. Gary L. Abbott officiated at the ceremony.
The groom is the son of Danny and Kathy Lewis and Teresa and Toby Wommack, all of Millen.
White mums and white arbour decorated with greenery highlighted the outdoor, garden wedding.
Caroline Collins of Waynesboro performed musical selections on the violin.
The groom chose his father to serve as best man.
Caroline K. Hargrove of Waynesboro was her sister's maid of honor.
She wore a deep pink, kneelength gown with spaghetti straps and carried a bouquet of yellow calla lilies.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an A-line, candlelight colored gown with spaghetti straps. Beads accented the scoop neckline, and the gown featured a sweep length train. The bride's elbow-length veil was also candlelight in color.
She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies.
Reception
The bride's parents were hosts for a reception at Hancock Landing in Waynesboro.
A white tent, which sheltered guest seating and a dance floor, was lined with white lights and lime green and bright pink décor.
Brooke Hargrove, cousin of the bride, kept the bride's book. Family and friends assisted at the reception.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple make their home in Millen.
