Millen Baptist,

Millen UMC Christmas program

The combined choirs of Millen Baptist Church and Millen United Methodist Church will perform a program of Christmas music and readings at Millen Baptist Church Saturday, Dec. 15, and again on Sunday, Dec. 16, at Millen United Methodist Church. The program will begin each night at 6 p.m.

The program, "The Story of Jesus," presents the birth of Jesus as one magnificent chapter in the timeless story of the Creator's love for His creation. Musical settings combine traditional carols with contemporary Christmas anthems, interspersed by readings drawn from scripture, to retell the old, old story of Emmanuel - God with us.

The program is under the direction of R.H. Reeves III, music director of Millen United Methodist Church, and features the talent of more than 40 musicians and readers.
