Lady Eagles lose two close games on the court

The Jenkins County High School Lady Eagles basketball team lost two close games last week.

The Lady Eagles were defeated by Savannah Country Day 51-41.

Leading scorers for the Lady Eagles were: Courtnei Earls, 16; Nicole Smith, 13; Tashe McClain, 6; AyanaWalker, 4; and ShaniQua Carter, 2.

Calvery Baptist defeated the Lady Eagles in a hard fought 45- 41 battle.

Leading scorers were Dorothy Davis, Zandra Lake and Tashe McClain, 8 points each; Courtnei Earls, 5; Ayana Walker and Nicole Smith, 4 points each; Deondra Lewis, 3; and ShaniQua Carter, 1.

The Lady Eagles next two games are at home. On Friday, Dec. 14, they will face Bryan County. On Saturday, Dec. 15, the Lady Eagles will play Screven County.
