Correction

The Millen News previously reported that Bertha Jenkins Frison was killed in a car accident that occurred Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22. The accident occurred Friday, Nov. 23. The Millen News regrets the error.

Mrs. Frison died when the vehicle she was driving and another vehicle collided at the intersection of Perkins Road and Georgia Highway 21. Raheem A. Frison II, grandson and a passenger in Mrs. Frison's vehicle, reported to the Georgia State Patrol that his grandmother stopped her vehicle at the intersection before proceeding through it. Family members wish everyone to know that Raheem suffered minor injuries in the accident but is doing fine now.
