Contest winners announced

Winners in the annual Christmas Decorations Contest held Monday, Dec. 10, are as follows.

Division I - Class I - Homes - Traditional: 1st, Ken and Angela Delay; 2nd, Joey and Cindy McBride; 3rd, Jerry and Patricia McMillan; and 4th, Troy and Karla Gay. The McMillans also won Most Outstanding Overall Decoration at 360 College Avenue.

Class II - Homes Overall - Fantasy: 1st, Louise Sherrod; 2nd, Sandra Sherrod; 3rd, Tony Taylor; and 4th, Brenda Bynes.

Class III - Doors: 1st, Jerry and Patricia McMillan; 2nd, Walter and Velma Bragg; 3rd, King and Beth Rocker; and 4th, Lynda Daniel.

Class IV - Windows: 1st, Ernie Edwards; 2nd, Joe and Carolyn Law; 3rd, Libby Williams; and 4th, Lamar and Joyce Gay.

Division II - Class I - Commercial or Public Buildings: 1st, Bethany Home Nursing Center; 2nd, Cindy's Café on Cotton; 3rd, Sisters Gifts and Collectibles; and 4th, The Flower Cottage.

Class II - Churches: 1st, Millen Baptist Church; and 2nd, Millen United Methodist Church.
