Burglary at John C. Wilson Company

A screaming alarm apparently thwarted an attempted burglary at John C. Wilson Company around 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11. A rock thrown through the glass window in the back door of the office building set the burglar alarm off and scared the perpetrators away, said owner F.A. Black. An unsuccessful attempt was also made to gain entry into the warehouse by throwing a rock at the glass window. (Staff photo by Deborah Bennett)
