Richardson honored, Taylor recognized by EMS

The badge of paramedic Cliff Richardson, recently deceased, was retired during a ceremony held Friday, Dec. 7, at the Jenkins County Senior Citizens Center. Above, Jenkins County Emergency Medical Services Director Henry Young, right, is shown making the presentation to Barbara Crockett, Richardson's mother. Young praised Richardson's dedication to duty and genuine concern for those he served in making the presentation. Below, from left, Young presents a plaque of appreciation to Tyler Taylor for his volunteer assistance to the EMS during 2007.
