Eagle Academy awards students

The Jenkins County Middle School Eagle Academy held its first semester Awards Ceremony Tuesday, December 18, 2007. Ms. Wendy Ivey, Eagle Academy teacher, presented certificates to students for highest average and most improved in each subject area as well as Accelerated Reader awards. The students have worked extremely hard during the first semester, and Ms. Ivey wanted to acknowledge their efforts. After the students were recognized before an audience of parents and other visitors, refreshments were served.
