In honor of Valentine's Day this Thursday, I thought you might enjoy a few "Valentine jokes."

Here are a few of my favorites.

"Love is blind but marriage is an eye-opener. The most effective way to remember your wife's birthday is to forget it once. What are cosmetics? A woman's way of keeping a man from reading between the lines."

"When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure of one thing: either the car is new or the wife. Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about something you say. After marriage, he will fall asleep before you finish."

And here are a few Valentine's Day don'ts.

"Don't give your Valentine the same card you sent last year. Don't tell your Valentine about the perfect present you almost bought. Don't buy your Valentine "diet" anything on Valentine's Day. Don't buy your Valentine household appliances. Don't leave your wallet at home - again. Don't give your Valentine anything you bought at a gas station mini-mart on the way over. And whatever you do - Don't give your partner a box of chocolates hastily rearranged to cover the fact that you ate some!"
