Hering, Joyner participate in GSU Scholar's Day

Korine Hering and Chester Joyner were among more than 200 outstanding high school seniors who recently attended Georgia Southern University's (GSU) sixth annual Scholar's Day at its main campus in Statesboro. To be invited, students must score a minimum of 1200 on the SAT, or 27 on the ACT, with a strong academic average in high school courses. During the event, students are given direct access to university leaders, student organizations, and academic and student service offerings. During the day, they also have the opportunity to interview for a variety of available academic scholarships at GSU.
