Zion Baptist Church

LULA K. BROWN The Youth Department of Zion Baptist Church will celebrate their 73rd Junior Church Anniversary 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17. The speaker for the occasion will be Lula K. Brown of Millen.

Brown is a 2004 graduate of Jenkins County High School. She is also a 2008 graduate of Fort Valley State University with a degree in biology. She is the daughter of Annette Cobb of Millen.

Sunday School begins promptly at 10 a.m. Pastor Broomfield and the members and youth of the church cordially invite the public.

Green Fork Baptist Church

Sunday, Aug. 17, will be "Youth Day" at Green Fork Baptist Church. ECI Head Coach Milan Turner will be the guest speaker during the morning worship service. Drakes Chapel Baptist Church

Drakes Chapel Baptist Church's annual revival services will be held 7:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 13, through Friday, Aug. 15. The guest speaker is the Rev. Eugene Davis. The Rev. Robert L. Stephens is pastor.
