Jenkins County Recreation Department recently announced their Mite Boys and Midget Boys 2008 league champion teams.

Members of the Round's Fishin' Hole Cardinals mite boys' league champion team are: Austin Herrmann, Bill Knight, Cheney Knight, Hunter Simmons, Alexander Clifford, Gannon Walters, Michael Williams, Mark Lane, Andrew Ellis, Toby Morris and Garrett Oglesby. Their coaches are Al Knight and Bill Knight.

Members of the Modern Woodmen Marlins midget boys' league champion team are: Tyler Taylor, Dalton Davis, Kristopher Fitch, Tyler McMillan, Kyle Oglesby, Austin Wagner, Hunter Bolton, Bubba Allen, Wesley Finch, Tyler Wagner and Will Finch. Their coaches are Tim Frawley and Tony Taylor.
