Tuesday, Nov. 11, was Veterans Day, a day to honor and remember those who have served in our armed forces. We owe the freedoms we enjoy today to their sacrifices and dedication to duty. "Thank you" to all the veterans of our community.

Just a reminder, next Thursday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m. is the deadline for submitting Magic of Christmas photos of children up to age 12 for our Christmas edition. The cost is $6 per child. After the deadline, the cost is $10 per child until 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26. We cannot accept any photos after this date.
