The annual Town Meeting, sponsored by the Jenkins County Family Enrichment Center, will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Jenkins County Agriculture Center.

This year's topic will be, "Poverty- how it affects you and your community."

Guest speakers will include Suzanne Luker, MPA, community affairs coordinator, Governor's Office for the Children and Families, and Gaye Smith, executive director, Georgia Family Connection.

Refreshments and door prizes will be offered. There will be no childcare available at the meeting. Other arrangements should be made for children under the age of 1.

The public is invited to attend.
