The Christmas season officially gets underway locally Friday, Dec. 5, with three annual activities taking place. The annual Christmas in Millen and Business Open House are set for 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, on Cotton Avenue, and the annual Memorial Tree Lighting will place at 5:30 p.m. at the Caboose on Cotton Avenue.
