Mrs. Wilda L. Dickey, 65, of Millen passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

Her funeral was held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with the Revs. Steve Golden and Butch Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Millen Cemetery.

Mrs. Dickey was born in Jenkins County. She was a retired secretary, and she was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby S. Dickey Sr.; a daughter, Michele D. (Mike) Prior of Martinez; two sons, Bobby S. (Michelle) Dickey Jr. of Pooler and Chuck (Emily) Dickey of Millen; two sisters, Martha Phillips and Jean Lewis Thompson, both of Millen; two brothers, Edward Lewis of Waynesboro and Emory Lewis of Rincon; and 10 grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Joe Hendley, Ronnie Hendley, James (Roundhead) Jackson, Eddie Dickey, Scott Harrison and Michael Turner.

Honorary pallbearer was Shelton Johnson.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
