(Photo contributed) Gregory Austin O'Connor of Edmond North High School has signed an NCAA letter of intent to attend Kennesaw State University north of Atlanta on a golf scholarship.

Gregory is a member of the Edmond North Huskies in Edmond, Oklahoma who have won the Oklahoma State 6-A Championship four years in a row. Gregory's high school competes at the highest level of high school golf and fields four traveling teams for their spring season. He has been very active in junior golf competing in well over 100 tournaments over the past four years. He has been ranked as low as 41 in the National Junior Golf Scoreboard.

Gregory is a member of National Honor Society, the Fel- lowship of Christian Athletes and a member of Oak Tree Country Club where he has held the title of Club Junior Champion.

Gregory was recruited by over 10 universities but chose Kennesaw State University due to Coach Blake Smart's approach to the game, the location and beauty of the school, the opportunity to compete in Division 1 Athletics and Kennesaw State's reputation as a good business school.

Gregory is the son of Angie Joyner O'Connor and Greg O'Connor of Edmond, Oklahoma, the grandson of Nell Joyner Penner and O.G. Penner of Millen and Grovetown and the nephew of Jeff and Judy Joyner of Millen.
