Drummer graduates JSU
Marcia Drummer, daughter of Mrs. Sue Moore, recently graduated from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Ala., with a master's of education in educational leadership.
Drummer, a graduate of Jenkins County High School, received a bachelor of science in special education from Morris Brown College. She currently resides in Lithonia, where she is employed with the DeKalb County school system. She is a special education teacher at Chapel Hill Middle School, and she serves as department chair of the special education department.
She is a member of the Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral, where she serves on the "Hear and Be Healed Ministry."
Drummer has been accepted at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn., beginning the fall semester of 2009, where she will work toward an educational specialist in curriculum and instruction degree.
