Dry Branch Baptist Church will celebrate its Centennial Sunday, Dec. 7. The day will begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m., with a goal of 100 in attendance. The Rev. Mr. Paul Clifton, 85, of Millen died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008. His funeral was 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with the Rev. David Blalock officiating. Burial was in the Millen Cemetery. Mr. Clifton was born in Jenkins County. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired farmer. More...
