The American Red Cross is currently looking for volunteers to help head the Jenkins County Disaster Action Team (DAT). Those who have a sincere interest in helping their fellow neighbors in a time of tragedy and those who have a little extra time to give, are being recruited.

A 3-hour training session will be held 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Millen United Methodist Church, 413 N. Gray Street. Upon completion, participants will be an official DAT member.
