Grand Jury indicts 12

The Jenkins County Grand Jury convened in December and handed down indictments against 12 individuals as follows:

• Spencer Britt, child molestation and sexual battery.

• Arnold Clarke, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony arson-first degree; insurance fraud and criminal solicitation.

• Virginia Clarke, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony arson-first degree; insurance fraud and criminal solicitation.

• Gerald Bradley Gaiser, burglary.

• Lisa Marie Johnson, cruelty to children-felony and false report of a crime.

• Michael Calvin Jones, burglary and two counts of theft by taking-firearm.

• Charles Wadley, child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and statutory rape.

• Dewayne Jamar Colley, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, obstruction of officers-misdemeanor and weaving over roadway.

• Wayne Friese, theft by taking felony.

• Leroy Luke, possession of cocaine, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while license suspended or revoked and safety belt violation.

• Ricky Julius Harden, habitual violator and driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Nelson Thomas Washington, two counts of first degree forgery.
