Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I was surprised last week when my two grandsons, Mason and Cad Davis, and their friend, Dillon Fields, came to my beauty shop and asked me to buzz all their hair off. I thought they were kidding.

They explained to me that their friend at school, Ricky Evans, was having brain surgery and they didn't want him to feel bad about shaving his head. They also said there were a lot more boys at school doing the same.

I am amazed at the genuine love these kids have for their friend.

I salute the parents of this great group of boys. You're doing a good job!

I would also like to encourage everyone to lift Ricky up in your prayers.
