Jean Young died at her Virginia home Jan. 22

Jean Stewart Fielding Young passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at her Staunton, Va. home, after a year of declining health.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carlton Young; four brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include two sisters, Marjorie F. Balsley and Frances F. Chittum; a son, Stewart C. Young; two daughters, Carole Y. West and Susan Y. Denham of Millen; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; additional extended family; and many special friends.

A private service was held.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes & Crematory.
