Correction

An obituary for Charles W. Lanier Sr. appearing in the Jan. 16 edition of The Millen News reported that Mr. Lanier served as a member of the Jenkins County Board of Commissioners 1979- 1982. Additional information furnished the newspaper indicates that Mr. Lanier served as a county commissioner for eight years, 1979-1986.
