First Baptist Church

The First Baptist Church announces the 13th Pastoral Anniversary service for their pastor, the Rev. Allen Webb, will be held 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10.

The public is cordially invited.

Miracle Temple House of the True Living God

Miracle Temple House of the True Living God will hold a service titled "Summoned to Labor" 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9.

Mistresses of ceremonies will be Inez Shefield and Annie Jean Clarke. Lisa Johnson will give the welcome, and Evon Fergerson will perform a solo. Eubie McCullum will read a poem, and Hazel Banner will give a reading. The pastor, Elder Joseph Ratliff, will introduce the speaker, Evangelist R. Lowe. Janie Williams will bring words of appreciation.

Dinner will be served. The public is invited.

Williams Grove Missionary Baptist Church

Williams Grove Missionary Baptist Church invites the public to their annual valentine program, "What it really Means to Love Somebody," 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9. The speaker for the program will be Pastor Martris Mims of Blythe.

The Rev. Bobby G. Williams Jr. is the pastor. The church is located at 1772 Georgia Highway 17, north.

The public is invited.

Bethel A.M.E. Church

Pastor Alma P. Mack and the Bethel A.M.E. Church family will hold a youth program 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. The guest speaker will be Rick Lowe of Portal, son of Walter and Glendia Lowe of Portal. All church youth are invited.

Faith Walk Deliverance Church

Faith Walk Deliverance Church will host its third annual banquet 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Millen Community House. Donations are $20. The Rev. Robert Reese is the pastor.

Zion Baptist Church

The public is invited to join Parents in Christ (P.I.C.) and Zion Baptist Church in the second Countywide Black History Celebration 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at the church.

The mission of P.I.C. and the church is to promote, research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about black life, history and culture to the global community.

Sandhill Baptist Church

The Rev. R.L. Whitehead, Dr. Diane McNeely and the Sandhill Baptist Church family invite the public to a Black History program and Memorial Dedication for Evelyn "Pete" McNeely and Prince L. Davis Jr. to be held 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10.

The church is located on the Millen-Sylvania Highway. Guest speaker for the occasion will be Anthony G. Green of Metter, and the topic will be "Timing is Everything."
