Pancake Supper

The annual Millen Lions Club Pancake Supper will be held from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at the Millen Community House. Plates will be available for "dine in or take out." Tickets are $5 each, and are available at the door or from any Lions Club member.

Swainsboro Technical College

Alneata C. Kemp of Swainsboro Technical College will be at the Jenkins County Center 5 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 6, to assist with admissions, testing, financial aid and registration. The center is located at 210 Hendrix Street in Millen.

Seedling Giveaway

Celebrate Arbor Day 2008 by planting a tree. Community tree planting activities and free seedling giveaways will be held 10 a.m. - noon Saturday, Feb. 16, in the public parking area on Hill Street in Statesboro. A variety of tree seedlings will be available while supplies last.

JCMS ABC Meeting

The Jenkins County Middle School Academic Boosters Club (ABC) will hold a meeting 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Jenkins County Agriculture Center. All parents are invited to attend. Fund-raisers, the 8th grade trip and other business will be discussed.

Prom Dress Fashion Show

Before the prom season arrives, the public is invited to take advantage of an opportunity to see the latest styles in eveningwear. The Millen Woman's Club is sponsoring a "Prom Dress Fashion Show" 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Millen Baptist Church Social Hall. Admission is $5. Refreshments will be served.
