Zion Baptist Church

The public is invited to join Parents in Christ (P.I.C.) and Zion Baptist Church in the second Countywide Black History Celebration 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at the church.

The mission of P.I.C. and the church is to promote, research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about black life, history and culture to the global community.

The True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center, Inc. church family and their pastor and overseer, Dr. Apostle Richard Walthour Jr., cordially invite everyone to their annual Deliverance Revival. Dickey Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Screven County, will hold their annual benefit revival 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, though Friday, Feb. 22. The revivalist for the week will be the Rev. W.B. Tomlin of Thomas Grove Baptist Church of Waynesboro.

The Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Youth Department will sponsor a Black History Program 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17. Clara Reese is the youth leader and the Rev. Jerome Herrington is pastor.

Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church #2

Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church #2 will celebrate Senior Citizens Day 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17. Mistress of ceremonies will be Beola Williams. The message will be brought by the Rev. Holloway.

The church will hold spring revival services Wednesday, March 12, and Thursday, March 13. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Eugene Davis of Swainsboro.
