      Jenkins County Elementary School held its annual school spelling bee in the school media center Wednesday, Jan. 23. Each fourth and fifth grade homeroom had their own spelling bee and found a class champion and runner up.

Miss Jenkins County Schools pageant to be held March 8
      The Miss Jenkins County Schools Pageant will be held Saturday, March 8, in the new Jenkins County High School gym. There will be three competition categories: elementary school grades 3-5, middle school grades 6-8 and high school grades 9-12.
