Feb. 21 - Millen Woman's Club fashion show featuring prom dresses, 7 p.m., Millen Baptist Church social hall, tickets $5.

Feb. 23 - Eggs and Issues Legislative Breakfast, 8 a.m. Krystal's Taste of Kountry, Rep. Jon Burns and Sen. J.B. Powell to be present, tickets, $5.

MARCH

March 1 - Oklahoma, Pal Theater, 7 p.m. Tickets $10.

March 1 - Millen Garden Club Council Flower Show, Jenkins County Agriculture Center, 2-6 p.m. Admission free.

March 22 - Community Easter Egg Hunt, Recreation Field beside Edenfield's Feed and Seed, 10 a.m.

APRIL

April 5 - Millen/Jenkins County Recreation Department Opening Day, BBQ cook-off Jenkins County Recreation Complex. Details to be announced.

April 5 - Magnolia Springs State Park Heritage Festival, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Arts, crafts, food and entertainment.

April 24 - Millen/Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce annual banquet, Nancy Cobb, OneGeorgia Authority to speak. Millen Community House, 7 p.m. Tickets $10.

April 26 - Keep Jenkins County Beautiful Cleanup Day, Jenkins County Courthouse Square, College Avenue, 8 a.m. Co-sponsored by Jenkins County Commissioners.

MAY

May 6 - Carson/Barnes Circus, Millen/Jenkins County Recreation Department complex, 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. shows. Advance tickets: adults, $10 and children, $5. At the door: adults, $16, and children $8.

JUNE June-September, Market Day, The Cotton Market, Cotton Avenue. Items to buy and sell.

JULY July 5 - Jenkins County Patriotic Celebration, Jenkins County Recreation Department complex, 7:30 p.m.

OCTOBER

Oct. 4 - Fair-on-the-Square, Jenkins County Courthouse lawn, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Arts, crafts, food, rides, games and entertainment.

Oct. 31 - Harvest of Fun, Cotton Avenue, 6p.m.-8p.m. Free games and candy for children through fifth grade.

NOVEMBER

Nov 4 - Election Day.

Nov. 6 - Jenkins County Family Enrichment Town Meeting, Jenkins County Agriculture Center, 6:30 p.m.

Nov. 15 - Cross Country 4.8 mile race, Magnolia Springs State Park, 9 a.m.

DECEMBER Holiday Business Open House - to be announced.
