Miss Jenkins County Schools pageant to be held March 8

The Miss Jenkins County Schools Pageant will be held Saturday, March 8, in the new Jenkins County High School gym.

There will be three competition categories: elementary school grades 3-5, middle school grades 6-8 and high school grades 9-12. Elementary school and middle school participants will compete wearing formal wear. High school contestants will compete in formal wear and on stage interview. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third places in each age category.

Applications may be picked up at the offices of Jenkins County Elementary School, Jenkins County Middle School or Jenkins County High School The registration fee is $25. The application and fee must be returned to the high school office by Tuesday, Feb. 26. .
