JCHS FFA members compete in Tractor Driving Contest

JCHS FFA member Chris Oglesby, below, recently competed in the Area IV Tractor Driving CDE held at Metter High School. In this contest Chris was required to demonstrate general knowledge of tractor operations and maintenance in a written test. Chris also had to verbally answer questions about tractor safety and maintenance, and take a written test over a tractor service manual. In addition to the written and verbal portions of the competition, Chris had to demonstrate safe and precise tractor driving on an obstacle course within a certain timeframe, above. Chris finished 6th overall in the competition against 19 other schools.
