JCHS FFA officers plan activities for upcoming year

This summer the JCHS FFA Officer Team held its annual officer retreat during the week of July 16, 2007. The JCHS FFA Officers meet at the Ag Department to map out the chapters activities for the school year. The Officers also completed the chapter's Program of Activities. Plans for this school year include: continuation of the JCHS Memorial Garden, Landscaping an area at the new gym, a fruit sale in September, donating fruit to the Jenkins Co. Family Enrichment, and attending the State FFA Convention in April. In addition, the FFA plans to field competitors in eight different career development events ranging from tractor driving to forestry.
