Club observes Arbor Day
 | | The Millen Council of Garden Clubs observed Arbor Day Friday, Feb. 15. Two dogwood trees were planted in the rear of the Jenkins County Hospital. The Rev. Dan Zellner opened the program with scripture and prayer. Virginia McBride gave a brief history of Arbor Day and read a poem titled, "Advice from a Tree." The trees were then planted by Jerry Williams. Doris Rabitsch, president of council, expressed her sincere appreciation of a job well done by Williams.
