Troopers release Februrary stats

State troopers from the Sylvania Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated no traffic crashes during the month of February in Jenkins County. Sgt. 1st Class Young said troopers from Post 21 issued 116 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes one arrest for driving under the influence, 83 citations for speeding, seven seat belt violations and five child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 159 warnings.
