Jenkins County Sheriff's Report

The Jenkins County Sheriff's Department issued 82 citations for traffic violations, executed 11 warrants and responded to 122 calls for assistance during the month of February.

Sheriff Tim Fields would also like to pass along a warning his office received from the Fire Marshall: The plug-in type fragrance devices that are very popular and sold in most stores have caused some house fires. It would probably be best not to use them. Fire not only takes your home, it also takes a lot of irreplaceable keepsakes.
