Stitches Sew Simple opens
The Millen-Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce recently sponsored a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Stitches Sew Simple located on Cotton Avenue, adjacent to Dwelle Insurance. Participants were, from left, Paula Herrington, chamber executive director; Roland Stubbs, city administrator; Steve Burke, chamber president; Patsy Sherrod; Kytrena Wilson; Amber Womack; Helen Womack, owner; Sandra Sherrod; and Clay Boulineau, chamber director. The business is open 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, featuring embroidery and gifts.
