Troopers release March stats

State troopers from the Sylvania Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated four traffic crashes during the month of March in Jenkins County. Sgt. 1st Class Young said the traffic crashes resulted in four injuries and no traffic deaths.

SFC Young said troopers from Post 21 also issued 169 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes seven arrests for driving under the influence, 98 citations for speeding, 14 seat belt violations and 13 child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 146 warnings.
