Morrison Grove Baptist Church Women's Day
Morrison Grove Baptist Church's annual Women's Day observance will be held 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 4. The speaker will be Mary Mack.

MARY MACK

Mack lives in the metro area of Atlanta, in Lithonia. She taught at Fifth Avenue Elementary School two years. At the end of the second year, she became the principal of Oakhurst Elementary School, a position she has held the last 17 years.

She is an active member and the youth director of the New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church in Decatur. She is married to Charles J. Mack. Their son, Nicholas, is a 2003 graduate of Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama. Their daughter, Avery LaTraci, is a senior at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C.

Before moving to the metro Atlanta area, Mack and her family resided in Millen. She was a local educator and a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband was an architecture designer and a member, deacon and treasurer of Morrison Grove Baptist Church.
