Fountain Spring Baptist Church to sponsor events

Fountain Spring Baptist Church will sponsor a Wellness Walk/Health Fair from 8 a.m. until1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Molly Park in Millen. Senior citizens are strongly encouraged to attend this free community-wide event, but everyone is welcome.

Free blood pressure and cholesterol checks are a few of the services that will be provided, and information on AIDS and STDs will also be available.

Local ministries and businesses are welcome to participate by setting up a booth to provide drinks (water or juice, preferably) or literature to participants. All donations are welcome and will be appreciated.

The church will also sponsor a Marriage Workshop beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3. The workshop is free to all.
