Qualifying Final

Qualifying as a candidate in the July 15 General Primary election ended at noon today (Friday) with 13 candidates tossing their hats into the political arena. Jenkins County Sheriff Tim Fields is opposed by Tony Taylor and Robert Oglesby. Jenkins County Commissioner Floyd Chance faces opposition from Rudine Becton and Ed Meadows.
