Bethel AME Church to hold special services

Bethel AME Church cordially invites the public to attend their annual Mother's Day Brunch noon, Saturday, May 10. Friends, fellowship and food will be the highlight of the celebration.

The public is also invited to a "Young People's Program" 4 p.m. Sunday, May 11. The Rev. Solomon Roberts Jr. will be the guest speaker.

Rev. Roberts was born during the time his father, the Rev. Solomon Roberts Sr., served as pastor of Bethel AME Church, (1977 through 1981.) Rev. Roberts Jr. currently serves as pastor of St. Andrews Chapel AME Church in Sylvania.
