Millen UMC Youth

Chicken-Q

Fundraiser

The youth of Millen United Methodist Church ask the public to support their upcoming Chicken-Q fundraiser. The event will be held 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17. The cost is $7 per plate, which includes 1/2 chicken, coleslaw, baked beans, bread and dessert. You may pick up plates at the back of the church's social hall.

West Millen Baptist Church Boston Butt

Fundraiser

West Millen Baptist Church is selling smoked Boston butts for Memorial Day weekend. The cost is $20 each. All money raised will help pay for the children to enjoy a week at camp and the children's ministry.

Ogeechee Freewill

Baptist Church

Homecoming

Everyone is invited to Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church's Homecoming 11 a.m. Sunday, May 18. The speaker will be Milan Turner, coach of the ECI champion Bulldogs.

The message in song will be delivered by Betty Jean Kirkland, Ann Johnson, Larry Wilkinson and Becky Taylor. A covered dish meal will be served following the service. The church is located on West Old Savannah Road.

Spring Revival Brinson Rock Baptist Church will hold their annual Spring Revival 7:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 14, through Friday, May 16. The Rev. Undrey Bostic is pastor.

The speakers are, today: the Rev. Bush; Thursday: the Rev. Anthony Dixon; and Friday: the Rev. Eric Tate.

The guest churches are, today: Gordon Grove, Needful, Morrison Grove, Carswell Grove, New Hurricane Branch, Parker's Grove and First McCoy Baptist; Thursday: Williams Chapel AME, Green Chapel AME, New Light Baptist, Dixon Branch Baptist, Bethel AME, Skull Creek #1, Skull Creek #2 and True Born; and Friday: Daniel Grove Baptist, Rocky Ford Baptist, Sand Hill Baptist, Friendship Baptist, Welcome Baptist, Zion Baptist, Nannie E. Spring Revival

Williams Grove Missionary Baptist Church invites the public to their Spring Revival 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, through Thursday, May 22. The guest speaker will be Dr. Richard B. Peoples Sr. of Faith Outreach Ministry, Hephzibah.

Program

Miracle Temple House of the True and Living God cordially invites the public to their appreciation services honoring Elder Joseph and First Lady Etoria Ratliff.

Services are currently ongoing, and will continue at 7:30 p.m. each night through Friday, May 16. Guest speakers for the remaining services are, Wednesday (today): Bishop Thomas Aaron; Thursday: Minister George James; and Friday: Evangelist Rick Lowe.

A First Pastoral Appreciation Program will be held 10:15 a.m. Sunday, May 18. The guest speaker will be Elder Thomas Henderson of Dublin.

The members of Gay's Hill Baptist Church cordially invite the public to attend the 9th Anniversary Celebration honoring the Rev. Larry Cone and his wife, Donna Cone. The event will take place at the church, on Sunday, May 18, beginning with Sunday School at 10:30 a.m.

Skull Creek #2 Baptist Church Musician's Appreciation

Skull Creek #2 Baptist Church will hold a Musicians Appreciation Service 6 p.m. Saturday, May 31. The master of ceremonies will be Reginald Scott. The Rev. Johnny Ray Sampson will bring words of wisdom. Each choir will sing one or two selections. Participating choirs include Bible Missionary Baptist Church, Disciples for Christ, Gordon Grove and Unity.
