The Chatter Box School is out, and summer vacations are coming. Don't forget to take a copy of The Millen News with you on vacation. Have someone snap a photograph of your group with the newspaper at a prominent landmark, and we will publish it in our "The Millen News goes on vacation" feature. (The newspaper must be displayed in the photo.) This has been very popular in the past, and, hopefully, you will continue to send us your photographs. Also, we need photographs for our "Favorite Family Photo" feature. So search your photo albums, and send us your favorite photos which will be returned. Be sure to name the people in the photo. ****** I know that summer has officially arrived when everything on television is a re-run. The only shows that seem to be current now are the news broadcasts! Bonanza and Gunsmoke are two of my all-time-favorite television shows, but after awhile I even tire of them. I once thought that if we just had satellite television we would always be able to find something to watch. I now know that is not so. There is still nothing new to watch. I guess this means that I now have the time to do all those things that I have been putting off like trimming the hedges, washing my car, repotting my house plants, raking pine cones, etc. On second thought, I think I can stand a few more reruns of Bonanza and Gunsmoke. There just might be one I have not seen before, and I would not want to miss that! ****** Happy birthday this week to: John Troisi Jr., Roy Head, Stewart Rackley, Tori Smith, Debbie Richards, Kimberly G.
