Qualifying for BOE begins June 23

Qualifying as a Nonpartisan candidate for the Nov. 4 General Election will take place in the office of the Jenkins County Probate Judge at the Jenkins County Courthouse June 23-27. Candidates may qualify between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. June 23-26 and from 9 a.m. until noon on June 27.

Jenkins County Board of Education seats up for election are District #1, presently held by Roderick Campbell; District #3, presently held by Roy Cook; and District #4, presently held by Vicki Odom.

The qualifying fee is $90.
