Vacation Bible

School

Community Vacation Bible School, sponsored by Nannie E. Williams United Methodist Church, will be held 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 20, at Jenkins County High School.

The theme is "Around the Campfire with Jesus." All ages are welcome. Preschool through adult classes will be offered.

The public is invited.

Skull Creek Missionary Baptist

Church No. 2

Anniversary

Services celebrating the 128th Church Anniversary of Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church No. 2 will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 15.

The Friday service will feature the Rev. Eugene Davis of Ohoopie Grove Baptist Church of Swainsboro.

Special guests for the Sunday service will include Zion Fair Baptist Church and the Rev. Edward Evans. Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall.

The church is located at 3844 W. Old Savannah Road. The Rev. Charles Holloway is pastor and Deacon Charlie Taylor is chairman. Services are held each first and third Sunday. Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m.; worship service begins at 11:30 a.m.; and Bible study begins at 7 p.m.

The public is invited.

Welcome Baptist

"100 Men in Black"

Welcome Baptist Church will hold its "100 Men in Black" program 5 p.m. Saturday, June 14.

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Jessie Johnson Jr., pastor of Rehobiah Missionary Baptist Church of Langston County. Rev. Johnson, a native of Jenkins County, is one of Georgia's most sought-after messengers.

The theme for the event is "Christian Men Reaching Out." Refreshments will be served. The pastor is the Rev. Eddie Walker.

Methodist VBS

Millen United Methodist Church invites everyone to come take a thrilling ride with Jesus at "Gospel Light's Sonworld Adventure Park" during Vacation Bible School 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, June22, through Thursday, June 26.

West Millen Baptist Church Youth Rally

All youth are invited to a "Youth Rally" to be held 7 p.m. Saturday, June 14, on the front lawn of West Millen Baptist Church. There will be a guest speaker for the service, and music will be provided by the Millen Baptist Church Youth Band.

Everyone is cordially invited.

Elam Baptist

Church VBS

Elam Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School for all ages 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, through Thursday, June 19. The theme is "Outriggers Island."
