Minister Jonathan Richardson of Augusta will bring the message. Minister Richardson, a graduate of Morehouse College, is currently att ending Emory University where he is pursuing a master's of divinity with a concentration in scripture and interpretation. He serves as minister to youth and young adults at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Richardson of Augusta. On the topic of parental influence, Richardson said, "It played a major part of my life. It sets a foundation for who you are, and points you in the right direction." The Rev. Kenneth Griffin and Nannie E. Williams UMC church family encourage all youth and young adults to attend to hear this inspirational young man. The public is cordially invited. Prayer and praise A time of prayer, praise and thanksgiving will be held at noon, Thursday, June 26, on the lawn of the Jenkins County Courthouse. Everyone is invited. Welcome Baptist Welcome Baptist Church will present "Family Day" 11 a.m. Sunday, June 29. The speaker will be Christine Stripling. The Rev. Eddie Walker is pastor. The public is invited. Green Fork Shannon R. Britt, a renowned Christian vocalist from Vidalia, will be in concert at Green Fork Baptist Church 6 p.m. Sunday, June 29. Britt has become widely known throughout the middle Georgia area for his outstanding musical performances. He has been compared by many to contemporary Christian recording artist Ray Boltz. He also gives an inspirational testimony that will touch the heart. He is the brother of Angela B. Joiner, who is the pianist at Green Fork Baptist Church and the music director at Edmund Burke Academy. The public is cordially invited to this evening of worship in song. Parker Grove Parker Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Rocky Ford, will hold their annual revival 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 11. The guest revivalist for the week will be Elder Joseph Mosley of Statesboro. Elder Levon Alston is pastor. Everyone is invited. |
