Mt. Carmel Baptist Church

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church will hold a Deacon Ordination Service for Bro. Samuel Reese Sunday, July 13. Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m., and the worship service begins at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Jerome Herrington is pastor; Dea. A.D. Pierce, chairman; and Sis. Charlotte Patterson, secretary.

Dry Branch Baptist Church

Dry Branch Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming Sunday, July 13. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and church services at 11 a.m. A covered dish dinner will be served after the service.

Daniel Grove Baptist Church

Daniel Grove Baptist Church will hold its Men and Women's Day program Sunday, July 13. Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by the regular church service.

Donna Kennedy, Jenkins County High School (JCHS) Teacher of the Year, 2005-2006, will be the guest speaker for the women. She is an active member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Pulaski and is a certified lay speaker for the Methodist Conference. She is a member of the Usher Board.

The guest speaker for the men will be Daniel Varner, JCHS band director. He is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University and has served two years as the Resident Director of the Pennsylvania Governors School for the Arts. He is a member of Rucker Memorial Baptist Church in Gainesville.

The public is invited to attend.

Sandhill Baptist Church

The Rev. R.L. Whitehead and Sandhill Baptist Church family invite the public to attend their church revival 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 11. The guest speaker for the occasion will be Pastor Louise Roberson of William Grove Baptist Church.

The church will hold a building fund drive selling chicken plates 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at the residence of Sandra Wadley on McComb Drive. A $5 donation for chicken plates is asked.

The 123rd Church Anniversary is set for 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 13 with Pastor R.L. Whitehead speaking.

The public is invited to attend these activities.

Kelsey Chapel

Kelsey Chapel Baptist Church, 1025 Hiltonia Road, will celebrate its 112th Church Anniversary Sunday, July 20. Sunday School begins at 10:15 a.m., and the worship service at 11:15 a.m.

Pastor Albert L. White and the church family invited the public to attend. Dinner will be served.

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church will hold Installation Services for Pastor-Elect and Sister Harry Baldwin 4 p.m. Sunday, July 20.
